Wildstone has secured the rights to seven billboard locations in Sydney Olympic Park, marking a significant expansion in its outdoor media infrastructure portfolio.
The company plans to invest over $4 million to upgrade these sites, focusing on digitisation and repositioning to boost visibility.
The contract for the existing static billboard portfolio is set to commence on October 1, 2026, with Alliance Outdoor Media Group confirmed as the operator. This investment aligns with the broader growth phase of Sydney Olympic Park, part of the New South Wales Government’s Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2050. The plan includes developing up to 15,000 homes and creating 26,000 jobs, transforming the area into a major live-work destination.
The Sydney Metro West, scheduled for completion by 2032, is expected to significantly improve transport connectivity, increasing audience movement through the billboard sites. This infrastructure development is anticipated to support the precinct’s growth and enhance the reach of the advertising assets.
Per Noel Cook, MD – Australia at Wildstone, “Sydney Olympic Park is becoming one of Sydney’s major live-work destinations, with tens of thousands of people set to call it home. We’re putting more than $4 million into building a network of premium digital assets that matches where the precinct is heading. We’ve already had strong interest from both major media operators and independents – exactly the kind of industry-wide support we want behind this network.”
Mitch Cook, commercial director – Australia at Wildstone, added, “We’re investing with the next 20 to 30 years in mind, building a digital network that can evolve alongside Sydney Olympic Park. A location of this calibre deserves infrastructure to match, and our ambition is to ensure the network keeps pace with the precinct’s growth.”
