AgVision is the leading agricultural and agribusiness careers expo in New South Wales, aimed at students in years 9-11, showcasing the multitude of career options and study pathways available for future leaders in agriculture. The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) hosts the event every second year, welcoming 1,000 students to Sydney Showground. With seminars, workshops and hands-on experience on offer, AgVision provides the mentoring and advice students need when considering a career in the industry that feeds, clothes and provides for us all.
From Dairy Manager to Food Journalist, Livestock Nutritionist to Pig Research Scientist, Working Dog Trainer and everything in between, the wide range of careers and courses are there to be explored in 50 hands-on workshops on 27 July at Sydney Showground.
The RAS is proud to host AgVision, with RAS Agriculture General Manager Murray Wilton explaining it provides a great way to connect students with a vital industry and explore their career options.
“Our mission is to deliver co-ordinated and engaging agricultural education programs and events, highlighting the importance of food and fibre and the farmers who produce it,” Mr Wilton said.
