Tennis NSW is proud to announce having been named on Diversity Council Australia (DCA)’s annual list of Inclusive Employers for 2025-2026. This acknowledgement highlights Tennis NSW’s commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported.

The recognition follows Tennis NSW’s participation in the DCA and Diversity Atlas run Inclusive Employer Index, an in-depth workplace survey that measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences. The Inclusive Employer Index has enabled Tennis NSW to evaluate the current state of inclusion in our workforce and compare it to the Australian workforce and DCA member benchmarks. This data empowers Tennis NSW to show their commitment to inclusion, reflect on achievements and identify ways to do even better.

To be recognised by DCA as an Inclusive Employer, organisations must exceed the National Index Benchmark across several key diversity and inclusion areas.

“Tennis NSW is honoured to be recognised by Diversity Council Australia as a 2025–2026 Inclusive Employer,” said Tennis NSW Inclusion & Community Manager, Naskay Rajah.

DCA CEO Catherine Hunter congratulated this year’s Inclusive Employers for demonstrating their commitment to fostering workplaces where employees in all their diversity can thrive.

“DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index shines a spotlight on organisations creating meaningful change and inspiring others to follow their lead,” Catherine said.

“The Inclusive Employer Index is more than just a diagnostic tool — it’s an opportunity to reflect on areas for growth, plan next steps, and celebrate your organisation’s progress in diversity and inclusion.

DCA acknowledge that when workplaces actively foster inclusion, employees are more engaged, innovative, and motivated. It’s inspiring to see the phenomenal work being done across Australia to build fairer, more inclusive workplaces.”

Research by Diversity Council Australia shows that workplace inclusion delivers measurable benefits for organisations and the communities they serve, creating healthier work environments, boosting employee wellbeing, driving performance, and reducing risk. Workers in inclusive teams are:

• Three times less likely to leave their organisation
• More than twice as likely to work extra hard
• Four times more likely to provide excellent customer service.

Tennis NSW believe diversity and inclusion are not just values, they are actions. From participating in the Inclusive Employer Index, to embedding inclusive practices in recruitment and leadership development, to fostering a culture where every voice is heard, Tennis NSW are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.

Being recognised by DCA reinforces their dedication to continuous improvement and inspires them to keep building an environment that truly reflects the diversity of the communities they serve.
