Sydney Showground has been busy recently receiving deliveries of chocolate, pasta, olive oil, beef, chutneys and jams and even confectionery from all over the country… for the Sydney Royal Beer & Cider and Fine Food competitions.
Beef and deli meats, cereals and preserves have also taken their places before the judges with the hopes of receiving a prestigious Sydney Royal Gold, Silver or Bronze medal.
On Friday 22 September 2017 at the Taste of Excellence Awards, the Champion fine food, beer, cider and chocolates will be announced. This sold-out event will be held at The Stables, with guests dining on delectable Sydney Royal fare designed by Sydney Showground’s Executive Chef, Tim Browne, using Sydney Royal medal winning produce and matched with award winning brews.
All award winners receive Sydney Royal medal artwork, which can then be used on packaging and promotional material for their products, notifying consumers of the high level of achievement the product has attained.
