The final Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2050 has been released, as recently announced by the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, the Hon Paul Scully MP.
This marks a significant milestone for Sydney Olympic Park and sets the strategic direction for the next 25 years of growth, innovation, and transformation.
Master Plan 2050 outlines a bold yet achievable vision to evolve the Park into a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable suburb—one that continues to honour its Olympic legacy while responding to the needs of future generations.
The Master Plan will guide the long-term delivery of:
-
- Up to 15,000 homes and 26,000 jobs
- A vibrant town centre with new public spaces, schools, retail and cultural facilities
- Enhanced transport connections and sustainability outcomes
- A dynamic precinct that fosters economic growth and opportunity for residents, workers, visitors, and local businesses.
The Business Association is pleased this Master Plan 2050 has now been released and our members can get on with delivering many of the outcomes this plan envisages.
