The Sydney Boat Show will return to Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park in 2026, with organisers confirming an expanded event following the success of its debut at the venue in 2025.
The Boating Industry Association (BIA) has announced the four-day event will take place from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August 2026, with plans already underway to scale up the show in response to strong exhibitor and industry interest. The return reflects growing confidence in Sydney Olympic Park’s ability to host large-format exhibitions with strong visitor appeal.
BIA CEO Andrew Fielding said the Showground’s accessibility, central location within Greater Sydney and dedicated train station were key factors in the decision to expand the 2026 event. Organisers are planning to increase undercover exhibition space, while making greater use of the venue’s extensive outdoor areas to accommodate more exhibitors and displays.
The expanded show will deliver a broader showcase of the boating lifestyle, including boats, marine equipment, fishing gear and marine accessories, attracting both industry professionals and the general public. Exhibitor feedback from the 2025 show highlighted strong attendance, ease of access and a high-quality event environment.
The announcement reinforces Sydney Olympic Park’s growing role as a destination for major trade and consumer events, with the Sydney Boat Show expected to drive increased visitation and economic activity across the precinct.
