On 8 June, Accor Stadium will host the first game of the 2022 State of Origin Series when the victorious NSW Blues return home to defend their title.
Always an unmissable event on the football calendar, fans will stream to Olympic Park for an Origin game for the first time since 2020.
This will be the first time since game II in 2020, Origin will be returning to Stadium Australia, now known as Accor Stadium. The venue last hosted a series-opener in 2016 and is sure to welcome a packed house this time around, with New South Wales having won three of the past four series.
The side will go into the match on June 8 with plenty of confidence – the Blues have won 19 of the 29 Origin matches at the venue.
