|The new shared walking and bicycle riding path from Carlingford to Tramway Avenue in Parramatta is now open.
Spanning 5.7 kilometres, the shared path is a public area designated for the use of walking and bicycle riding. It can be identified by signs and/or pavement markings showing a pedestrian and a bike.
The shared path starts at Boundary Road, Carlingford and runs alongside the Parramatta Light Rail alignment to Tramway Avenue in Parramatta. The path also travels over the new shared active and light rail bridge, Bidgee Bidgee Bridge in Rosehill.
