Sydney Showground will welcome St Jerome’s Laneway Festival to its venue next February, with the festival announcing the shift to the all-weather site last week.
Returning for the first time since 2020, the popular music festival will bring international acts HAIM, Joji, Phoebe Bridges, FINNEAS, and more to the heart of Sydney for a jam-packed day of live music.
With a strong line-up of Spring and Summer festivals ahead, Sydney Showground General Manager Darryl Jeffrey says the multi-purpose venue is thrilled to partner with the iconic festival.
“As a venue, we’ve always prided ourselves on the versatility and quality of our event spaces. So, as inclement weather plays on the minds of festival organisers, an adaptable venue, like Sydney Showground is perfect,” Darryl Jeffrey said.
Laneway will take place at Sydney Showground on Sunday, 5 February, with general admission to the 2023 Laneway Festival on sale now.
“The team look forward to working closely with organisers to deliver an incredible 2023 Laneway experience and to make the transition to Sydney Olympic Park as smooth as possible,” Darryl Jeffrey said.
