Sydney’s leading retail factory outlet, DFO Homebush, has recently completed a $100m redevelopment to accommodate an expansion of its Australian, international and luxury retail offering.
The premier shopping destination, located in the geographical centre of Sydney, expanded from 86 stores on a single level to feature 126 stores across two levels. The Centre has introduced Australia’s first International Premium Mall concept deriving its concept from Outlets around the world with designer brands never seen before in any Outlet environment in Australia. Brands include Salvatore Ferragamo, ESCADA, COACH, HUGO BOSS and many more. The Centre has also introduced a Homemaker/lifestyle precinct under the same trading platform as the DFO level creating an integration between two unique precincts.
The new-look centre features a mix of leading luxury retailers as well as popular mainstream brands, and a new 475-seat food court dining precinct as well as a significant upgrade to the existing DFO complex. Carparking has increased from 464 to a massive 2,020 spaces with a full parking automated parking assistance system.
DFO Homebush is in a popular and growing trade area comprising upwards of two million people, and has positioned the already popular centre as a comprehensive lifestyle shopping destination which is well placed to service one of the city’s fastest growing residential corridors.
The combining the new homemaker centre with the existing factory outlet and increasing the number of retail stores has provided a full-service, convenient lifestyle hub, enhancing the customer experience.
