Sydney Metro has submitted for assessment to the Department of Planning and Environment the Environmental Impact Statement for rail infrastructure, stations, precincts and operations between Westmead and the Sydney CBD.

This planning document is now on public exhibition until 4 May 2022. Anyone can make a submission, in any language, about the Environmental Impact Statement to the Department of Planning and Environment.

You will be able to explore the information boards, read the planning document, learn more from our project experts and zoom into our interactive project map to understand what Sydney Metro West would mean for your area.

Sydney Metro has also commenced planning for over and adjacent station development at Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park by lodging a Scoping Report for each site with the Department of Planning and Environment. The Parramatta State Significant Development (SSD) Scoping report and Sydney Olympic Park SSD Scoping report can be viewed on the DPIE website here

The community will be able to learn more and have their say at each stage of the planning process.
