Congratulations to Matthew Lazarus-Hall on his appointment as General Manager of Afterpay Arena.

Having served in the role in an interim capacity since January 2026, Matthew has guided the venue through a significant period of growth, including the successful transition to its new naming rights partnership with Afterpay and a packed calendar of world-class events.

Matthew brings extensive experience in live entertainment and venue management, having previously held executive roles with Kai Tak Sports Park, Chugg Entertainment and Ticketek Australia. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for one of Australia’s premier live entertainment venues.
