Mental health is everybody’s business and Flourish Australia in Figtree Drive is hosting a series of events, conversations and activities during October. Flourish Australia works in local communities to help people dealing with mental health issues feel supported and meet their everyday challenges so they can thrive in their lives.
At a whole of organisation level, at the end of October, Flourish Australia will host a conversation with the Chair and Commissioner of the National Mental Health Commission, Lucinda Brogden AM.
Organisations, businesses and their people are invited to a breakfast on Thursday, 31 October to hear Lucinda shares her own experiences and insights. Lucinda’s primary areas of focus are issues facing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and the community.

On Tuesday 29th October 2019 from 10.00am there is an opportunity to go beyond talking about mental health to understanding your duty of care and building staff capacity. This free information session on workplace mental health will be presented by Flourish Australia’s Manager of Mental Health Consulting, Christine Miniawy. Christine will focus on educating organisations to go beyond talking about mental health to drive a more resilient and productive workforce.
