Sydney Olympic Park Authority along with residents of Newington and Wentworth Point will join the monthly clean-up of Haslam’s Creek.
Join the team in making a difference to your local area. This event is a collaboration between War on Waste – Newington and Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park Authority. This is a great opportunity to learn about the value of our natural environment and connect with people who live in your local community.
Haslam Creek is Coastal Saltmarsh, which is listed as an Endangered Ecological community in NSW. For these reasons a park ranger will supervise the Clean Up and will provide a short talk and induction on the unique local environment, sources of rubbish and management strategies.
So what are you waiting for? Register now, grab your gloves and hat and we will see you on the day.
