The City of Parramatta has adopted its 2026/27 Budget and Delivery Program, committing $557.9 million towards projects, infrastructure and essential services across the local government area.
Over the next 12 months, residents and businesses can expect continued investment in upgraded public spaces, community facilities, roads, footpaths and active transport links, alongside improvements to libraries, parks and sustainability initiatives. Key projects include the Finlaysons Creek Regional Cycleway, the Parramatta CBD to Sydney CBD Cycleway, Hill Road Upgrade, Hunts Creek Bridge and the Don Moore Multi-Purpose Community Hub.
The budget was shaped through community consultation and reflects Council’s commitment to creating a more connected, vibrant and liveable city for its growing population.
