Bringing Community Together to Help Those in Need Right Now
The festive season arrived early at Sydney Olympic Park, when Christmas in the Square commenced on Thursday 21 November. This is continuing through every night until 24 December with extra special activities planned on 6 December to support a fundraising effort for those impacted by the bushfires. 13 December is another extra special night with a ‘surprise’ entertainment component.
Celebrations begin at 6pm each night. There will be entertainment and activities, special guest appearances, and food and beverage offers from local retailers, providing a great opportunity to connect with the community.
The highlight each night will be a light projection display on Sydney Olympic Park Station, commencing at sunset and continuing every half-hour until 10pm. From Friday 6 December there will also be pop-up Christmas stalls in operation each night.
As part of the celebration, FREE car parking will be available in nearby P6 Car Park if you enter the boom gate after 5.30pm and spend $30 or more on the night (with receipts) at retailers in the precinct.
