Another Year of Success for Movies by the Boulevard

Another year of Sydney Olympic Park’s Movies by the Boulevard has come to an end, drawing in thousands of visitors in January. With such a diverse range of movies being screened, there was something for everyone.

Australia Day saw a special screening of 'Red Dog: True Blue', a new Australian film. Festivities started in the late afternoon with jumping castles and kids activities and a magnificent fireworks display as the sun went down, and ended with the picnic blankets covering the Park as families and friends settled in for the movie.

New Loop for Easier Access to the M4

Access to the M4 from Homebush Bay Drive will now be easier with the opening of a new G-loop ramp, which will provide direct, traffic light-free access to the M4 Motorway for drivers heading west towards Parramatta.

The ramp is the first section of the M4 Widening project to open up to motorists as part of WestConnex.

Mirvac Residential And Retail Development At Sydney Olympic Park

A proposal by Mirvac Projects Pty Ltd to build a mixed use development with 694 new homes in Sydney Olympic Park is on exhibition for community consultation.

The Department of Planning and Environment is keen to hear the community's views on the proposal for Site 53 at 2 Figtree Drive, which seeks to construct four residential flat buildings with heights varying between nine and 31 storeys.
