Update: 23 March 2020
Our primary concern is the safety of our visitors and staff.
We ask all visitors to work with us in our efforts to prevent COVID-19 and be vigilant in their personal hygiene, social distancing and avoid attending our venues if unwell.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority will continue to review its management of venues following expert advice from NSW Health and the Commonwealth Government.
Whilst we apologise for any disruption, we trust you understand our decisions and role in supporting public health.
What venues does Sydney Olympic Park Authority manage?
Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, Athletic Centre, Quaycentre, Hockey Centre, Sports Halls and Archery Centre are all managed by Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
ANZ Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Showground and the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre are all privately managed venues.
What venues have closed?
On Monday 16 March the Aquatic Centre closed to the general public following the Commonwealth Government’s decision on public gatherings until further notice.
A small number of elite programs including NSWIS Diving, Water Polo and Swimming squads will continue to have access to the facility to continue their training in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
What venues are still operating?
At present all Sydney Olympic Park venues, except the Aquatic Centre, remain operating and we are working with venue hirers to seek alternate arrangements to events where necessary and to ensure we comply with Public Health (COVID-19 Public Events) Order 2020.
