All-Sydney July Means NRL Derby Month at ANZ Stadium

ANZ Stadium’s four proud home clubs will take part in a month of derbies at Sydney’s Olympic Stadium this July.

Derby Month will see the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers play against each other in all five July NRL games at ANZ Stadium.

YMCA NSW Wins Tender to Run Sydney Olympic Park Lodge

YMCA NSW is pleased to announce it has been awarded the tender for the management and operation of the Sydney Olympic Park Lodge (SOPL).

Since 2010 the organisation has been privileged to represent Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) as Licensee of its key public asset. The new contract, commencing on 1 July, is for a three-year term with a two-year option attached.

Eggciting News from the Nest!

Sydney Olympic Park’s resident White-bellied Sea-Eagles have laid not one but two eggs!

The first egg was laid in the early evening of 11 June, and the second egg was laid, very quickly, on the evening of 14 June.

The pair of Sea-Eagles had been preparing for the arrival of the eggs for weeks, renovating last year’s nest with new sticks and green leaves.

Thales Extends Partnership with Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation

Thales recently announced that their partnership with the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation (KK), has been extended for another three years until 2021.

KK supports children living in families affected by mental illness with particular emphasis on returning Defence personnel and provides recreational and educational camps and other fun activities. A lunchtime session attended by over 30 employees was held to inform employees on the partnership but more importantly, on how they could be involved with KK via volunteering.
