Andrew Bogut Joins Sydney Kings

In what ranks as the biggest signing in the history of the National Basketball League, Andrew Bogut will be a Sydney King for the next two seasons.

The 33 year old Bogut joins the Kings in time for its upcoming 30th anniversary season in the NBL.

Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 – Community Information Sessions

Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 will connect Parramatta to Sydney Olympic Park via Camellia, Rydalmere, Ermington, Melrose Park and Wentworth Point.

The project will revitalise local communities in the Greater Parramatta and Olympic Peninsula region and bring the 30-minute city closer to reality. Parramatta Light Rail are holding information sessions in Sydney Olympic Park on Sat 21 April, 10am to 2pm and Thursday 3 May, 4pm to 8pm, so you can find out more about the project.

4 Murray Rose will build on GPT's strong track record in playing a major role in the transformation of Sydney Olympic Park in a major commercial and employment centre.'

The ceremony followed an inspection of 4 Murray Rose by the NSW Minister for Police and Emergency Services Troy Grant and RFS Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons as concrete was being poured for the topping of the building.

Laugh out Loud Comedy Breakfast at ANZ Stadium

Special Olympics Australia fundraising events are always fun and provide an opportunity to meet Special Olympics athletes and hear their stories of courage, determination and personal achievement.

The 2018 Annual Laugh Out Loud Breakfast at ANZ Stadium will be held on Thursday 3 May. Special Olympics Ambassadors Rob and Tahir will be their usual, hilarious and entertaining selves and will host several Comedy Festival comedians over the course of the morning's breakfast. Limited tickets are still available.

Parramatta Council Signs New MOU for Gateway Bridge

City of Parramatta Council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with property company, PAYCE enabling detailed planning and design work to commence for a possible new bridge across the Parramatta River linking Melrose Park and Wentworth Point.

The ‘Gateway Bridge’ has been proposed by PAYCE, the original developer of Wentworth Point and the major landowner of Melrose Park. The company will engage specialist consultants to carry out the initial detailed design work, and will fund all costs associated with this stage of the bridge project.

New 10 week Yoga Program at Sydney Sports Medicine Centre

Due to popular demand, the Sydney Sports Medicine Centre will be commencing a second 10 week Yoga program in May.

This course will only be available to 12 clients each term as we aim to progress and teach you at your own pace and level. Our sessions are run by senior facilitators with experience in sequencing appropriately for corporate clients as well as weekend warriors and elite athletes.
