Play Tennis at Tennis World, Sydney Olympic Park, these Holidays!

The School Holiday ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Camps run during the school holidays at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre and are open to all children primary school age.

The camps are run by qualified Tennis World coaches who aim to include all participants in a variety of fun activities.

It is a great camp that will help children stay active during the holidays by engaging them in various activities and encouraging them to meet new friends.

Sydney Sports Medicine Centre Welcomes Henry Jones to the Physiotherapy Team at Sydney Olympic Park

Sydney Sports Medicine Centre is delighted to welcome Henry Jones, to the Physiotherapy team at Sydney Olympic Park.

Henry completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at the Australian Catholic University in 2017. He is a current member of the physio team for the NSW junior and schools athletics teams and has previously worked with Sydney University and East Coast Eagles AFL clubs, the Greater Sydney Rams NRC Rugby Union team, NSW Rugby 7’s, Football NSW and Futsal NSW.

Western Sydney University – The College, Continues to Grow Education Sector at Sydney Olympic Park

Western Sydney University - The College, saw 80 students complete their academic English studies at a graduation ceremony at the Sydney Olympic Park campus in late November.

These students will start their tertiary degree studies at Western Sydney University in 2018.

And the numbers continue to grow with 120 new students enrolling in academic English studies on orientation day at Sydney Olympic Park last week.

National dwelling values hold steady in November with Sydney trending lower while Perth bottoms out National dwelling values held steady in November, with a 0.1% fall in capital city dwelling values offsetting a 0.2% rise in values across the combined regional markets of Australia, according to CoreLogic’s November Hedonic Home Value Index results.

Sydney Irish Festival Debuts in November 2018

Sydney Showground has secured the rights to host the Sydney Irish Festival from 10 – 11 November, 2018. The Festival, a mixture of art, culture, music, dance, food, drink and sport, will also include a Guinness World Record attempt to make the world’s biggest Irish stew.

A highlight of the Festival will be The 2018 Wild Geese Trophy, which will be contested at Spotless Stadium by the reigning All Ireland Hurling champions Galway and the winner of the 2018 National Hurling League.

The Sydney Royal Easter Show’s popular new ‘foodie venue’, The Stables, has been recognised as “Best New Innovation in Food and Beverage” - (Attendance under 1 million) at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Brass Ring Awards, recently held in Florida in the US.

Shane McGrath, Senior Manager of Operations and Product Development for the Show says the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is thrilled with the international recognition.

The Herbalife Family Foundation is a non-profit corporation, which establishes partnerships with various organisations locally and globally to bring good nutrition to children in need through financial and volunteer support. Sunshine Butterflies is the fourth organisation supported by the Herbalife Family Foundation in Australia.

Members Working Together Ensure Medical Conference a Successful Operation

Load monitoring in athletes was the agenda for the annual NSWIS Medical Conference, held in the Ian Thorpe Theatrette on Saturday 18th November with the strong involvement of the Sydney Sports Medicine Centre.

In attendance were industry professionals from the sports medicine field including doctors, physiotherapists and massage therapists from the network of providers in New South Wales including the Sydney Sports Medicine Centre which was well represented.
