Herbalife Nutrition Will Continue to Fuel Western Sydney Wanderers FC as Official Nutrition Partner for Next Three Seasons

Global nutrition company Herbalife (NYSE:HLF) has committed to renewing its sponsorship of the A-League’s Western Sydney Wanderers FC, as Official Nutrition Partner for the next three seasons.

Since coming on board in 2014 as Western Sydney Wanderers’ Official Nutrition Partner, Herbalife Nutrition has continuously supported the team’s performance through their nutrition regime, and hosted programs and activities in conjunction with the club.

NRMA Reimagines Mobility in Sydney Olympic Park

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, NRMA Chairman Kyle Loades and NRMA Group CEO Rohan Lund, officially opened the NRMA’s new purpose built head office at Sydney Olympic Park, further cementing the NRMA’s long-term commitment to Western Sydney.

The new six storey building located on Murray Rose Drive – directly opposite the Olympic Park railway station – houses over 500 staff, and allows the continuation of the world-class customer service the NRMA is known for while allowing the business to better embrace innovation, technology and new ways of working.

Folkestone Set to Acquire Second Asset at Sydney Olympic Park

Folkestone’s real estate funds management subsidiary, Folkestone Funds Management, has announced the Folkestone SOP Opportunity Fund has entered into an agreement to acquire an asset in Sydney Olympic Park.

The six level commercial building at 11 Murray Rose Avenue – currently under construction by developer FDC Construction & Fitout Pty Ltd (FDC) – comprises 5,810 square metres across five levels of office and ground floor retail with basement car parking.

If you are having symptoms such as coughing, fever, aches and pains, nausea or headaches, please consult a GP as soon as possible. There are medications such as Tamiflu and Relenza which are only effective against influenza if given early in the first 24-48 hours.

Tennis Centre Gets New All-Weather Indoor Training Courts

The capabilities of the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre have been enhanced with the opening of two indoor training courts.

The new courts, opened by NSW Sports Minister Stuart Ayres on Monday 24 July, are a joint initiative of Tennis NSW, Tennis Australia and Sydney Olympic Park Authority.

Minister Ayres applauded Tennis NSW and their partners in delivering an all-new capability that will benefit all levels of the sport.

Sydney Olympic Park’s Iconic Frogs Prioritised with a New Status

Sydney Olympic Park’s pioneering frog habitat creation and management techniques has resulted in its new status as a priority managed site under the NSW Government Saving Our Species program, which also recognises the Park as home to the largest remaining Sydney population of the Green and Golden Bell Frog.

The endangered Green and Golden Bell frog colony at Sydney Olympic Park has benefited from over twenty-years of ecological restoration work, now undertaken by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, transforming former industrial land into 120 hectares of prime frog habitat including seventy specially constructed frog ponds.

Picturesque Nine Kilometre Network of Cycleways to link Rhodes and Parramatta via Sydney Olympic Park

City of Canada Bay Council and City of Parramatta Council have teamed with Sydney Olympic Park Authority to plan and deliver a network of world-class walking and cycle paths linking both cities via a network around Homebush Bay.

The Homebush Bay Circuit will provide visitors with water views and information on sites of significance along with local flora and fauna, attracting both local residents and tourists alike.

ANZ Stadium’s Massive Year Continues

ANZ Stadium has surpassed the one million patron mark this year, with massive crowds at both Arsenal Games helping to push crowds past the mark. The Stadium’s 2017 calendar year attendance to 17 July stands at a massive total of 1,140,148 people.

Football fans flocked to witness Arsenal’s first visit to Australia in 40 years, a total of 163,652 fans attended the Arsenal v Sydney FC and Arsenal v Western Sydney Wanderers games.

The Crowds Came and the Showground Delivered

Sydney Showground came alive with the rest of the precinct on Saturday 15 July, hosting the GWS Giants in a thriller against cross-town rivals the Sydney Swans. Although the match result didn’t make GWS supporters smile, the relaxed atmosphere of The Lawns bar ensured GWS fans were more than happy pre-game. Open until first bounce for each GWS home game, The Lawns bar serves beer, wine, ready-to-drink spirits and soft drinks in the relaxed atmosphere of the lawns outside Gate D.
