Sydney Olympic Park Included in First Pilot of Greater Sydney Commission’s “Growth Infrastructure Compacts” Model

A new approach to ensuring that Sydney's rapid housing growth is matched by transport, schools and other infrastructure will be rolled out by Lucy Turnbull's Greater Sydney Commission.

In recognition of concerns the pace of housing development has not been complemented by other services, the commission will establish "Growth Infrastructure Compacts" as mechanisms for government agencies to stage and implement what is needed in different areas.

Western Sydney Wanderers Confirm Signing of Spanish Striker Oriol Riera

The 31-year-old Spaniard joins on a two-year deal, reinforcing Tony Popovic’s attacking options ahead of the 2017-18 A-League season.

“We are very excited to have a player of Oriol’s calibre join us for the next two seasons,” said chief executive John Tsatsimas.

“Oriol has an exceptional pedigree and will no doubt enhance our playing strength and provides us with a great platform to be serious contenders at the business end of the season.”

ImproveMe is a member startup company with the Sydney Sports Incubator. ImproveMe have developed a web-based assessment tool that originated as a way to help professional athletes identify their key competencies and assist them in preparing for a fulfilling career path in their life after sport, whilst contributing to a measurable improvement in their on-field performance.

Recently, Claire and Brent from ImproveMe were excited to advise that they have now launched in pilot mode (minimum viable product).

Sydney Kings Invitational squad named to contest the Atlas Challenge in China, June 28, 2017

An offer to contest the eight-team Atlas Challenge tournament held in Suzhou, China next month has seen the Kings' organisation name a "Sydney Kings Invitational" squad to contest the prestigious event.

In its third year, the Atlas Challenge, hosted by The Atlas Group, features high-calibre club and national teams from across the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States, who will each play five games over a six-day period between July 17 and July 23.

Register for Tennis World’s Junior Holiday Tennis Camp

The Junior Holiday Tennis Camps are open to all children 5-12 years of age. It is a great camp that will help children stay active during the holidays by engaging them in various activities while making new friends. There will be a complimentary sausage lunch on the final day, encouragement awards for each full week participant and a trophy for the ‘Most Improved Player’.

Waterview in Bicentennial Park has a Fresh New Look!

On the 1st of July, 2016, Sydney’s hospitality extraordinaire Mr Theodore Drivas (Principle Partner of Dockside Group) gained full ownership of Waterview Venue in Bicentennial Park. Mr Drivas’ first assignment was conducting the rebrand for Waterview venue. In doing so, he assigned marketing agency GC Communications to complete the task. After many months of research and work Waterview brand was relaunched on Monday the 5th of June 2017 at Sydney Olympic Park Business Association Lunch, at Waterview. The rebrand was well received by all members and with much anticipation the new website followed shortly after and was made live on June 23rd, 2017.
