Sydney Olympic Park will become the home of cricket in NSW after the state government and Cricket NSW announced that a new $50 million high-performance Centre of Excellence will be built in the precinct at Wilson Park.

The government has committed $30 million towards the construction of the centre alongside the Parramatta River, to be funded from future property development projects within Sydney Olympic Park.
