ANZ Stadium will be transformed in to one of the world’s great rectangular stadiums as part of a significant investment in sporting and entertainment facilities in this State, the NSW Premier announced today.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said that works will begin on a new 75,000-seat rectangular stadium in 2019, with the aim that Sydney will have a new major events rectangular Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park by 2022.

The Parramatta Light Rail will provide reliable and modern public transport service to Sydney Olympic Park, with the NSW Government recently announcing plans for the stage 2 extension of the project.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian confirmed planning for Stage 2 was underway and is expected to be completed throughout 2018.

Waterview Café In Bicentennial Park hosted the inaugural annual Community Fun Day in Sydney Olympic Park. Launched on Sunday the 1st of October, from 9am-4pm, guests were treated to live music, DJ, Poppy The Possum and a kids zone.

Waterview Café aimed to celebrate and thank the local community for their support since 2005.
